Official Rules

These rules govern the Road to Winter pre-season challenge by Adrenaline Performance. By joining, you agree to them.
Amended August 12, 2026:new section 16 adds crew points, earned when friends you invite post challenge videos. Crew points count toward your weekly score, the overall standings, the weekly prizes and the grand prize, and they never break a tie. Sections 6, 7, 9 and 12 are updated to match. Section 7 also corrects the last step of the published tie-breaker to what the scoring engine has always done: whether you completed the previous week's challenge in full. Section 16 sets out how the crew size limit is decided (earliest video week, not who joined first), that held crew points are added only to the week being scored and are not paid out if they are still held after the final week is scored, and what happens to crew points if a submission is rejected later. Section 9 describes how an overall tie is broken.
1. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Road to Winter is free to join. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
2. Sponsor and prizing partner
Road to Winter (the "Challenge") is run by Adrenaline Performance("AP", "we", "us"). Prizes are provided in partnership with Rossignol. Rossignol is a prizing partner only and is not the administrator of the Challenge.
3. Eligibility
Open to individuals worldwide, except where participation or prize fulfillment is prohibited or restricted by law. Void where prohibited. You must be at least 13 years old to participate and to be eligible for prizes. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), public featuring (use of your name, photo, or social handle in AP marketing) and prize fulfillment require verified parental or guardian consent, which AP may collect before featuring you or awarding a prize. Employees, contractors, and immediate family of AP and Rossignol involved in running the Challenge are not eligible to win. Winners may be required to confirm eligibility before a prize is awarded.
4. Challenge period
The Challenge runs from July 2, 2026 to December 7, 2026. It is organized into weeks, each with its own challenges and deadline. All deadlines use Pacific Time (America/Vancouver). Once a week's deadline passes, that week is closed and its results are locked, except where AP grants an explicit administrative exception.
5. How to enter
Create a free account, complete the weekly challenges, and submit your results before each week's deadline. You may optionally attach a video of your effort. A reviewed video is required to be eligible for prizes. You may edit your result any time before the deadline. Submitting false, manipulated, or fraudulent results may result in disqualification.
6. Scoring
Scoring is fully automated, with no manual judging. Points come from completion, an optional video bonus, an automated performance bonus on measured challenges (based on where your result ranks against the field), a consistency bonus for completing the previous week's challenge in full, and crew points earned through referrals as set out in section 16. AP may add or adjust scoring components for future weeks. During a week your score is live and only goes up. Performance bonuses are calculated, any held crew points are settled, and the weekly ranking locks once AP scores the week after its deadline, which can take a few days. 7. Weekly prizes
Each week, the top-ranked eligible participant for that week wins a Rossignolprize, with the winner's choice of select apparel or trail-running footwear (subject to availability). To be eligible for a weekly prize you must have a reviewed, prize-eligible submission and meet the eligibility requirements above. The weekly ranking is your full weekly score, including any crew points credited that week (section 16). Exact ties are broken first by the published tie-breaker (challenges completed, then videos, then performance bonus, then whether you completed the previous week's challenge in full) and, if still tied, by a random draw among the tied participants. Crew points never break a tie: the tie-breaker is decided on your own training only.
8. Weekly prize limit: 2 per participant
The weekly prize pool holds 2 distinct Rossignol items, so each participant may win at most 2 weekly prizes over the Challenge. Once you have won 2weeks, you are no longer eligible for further weekly prizes, and each later week's prize goes to the next eligible participant in that week's final ranking.
This limit applies to the weekly prize only, and it takes nothing away from you. You keep every point you have earned, you keep your place on the weekly and overall leaderboards (including first place, if that is where you finish), and you stay fully eligible for the grand prize.
9. Grand prize
At the end of the Challenge, AP determines the grand-prize winner from the final overall standings and verifies their eligibility before awarding. The grand prize goes to the eligible participant with the highest overall score across the full campaign: a complete Rossignolsetup (skis, bindings, jacket and bib, and a helmet and goggle). Overall standings are the sum of each week's final score, which includes any crew points credited in that week (section 16). The weekly prize limit in section 8 does not apply here: a participant who has already won 2weekly prizes can still win the grand prize. If two participants finish on the same overall score, the tie is broken on the combined total of the same tie-breaker components (challenges completed, videos, performance bonus, and completing the previous week's challenge in full) added up across every week you were scored in, rather than week by week as in section 7. If they are still tied, the grand prize is decided by a random draw among the tied participants.
10. Winner notification and prize fulfillment
Winners are determined from the automated standings and notified by email at the address on their account. A winner must respond and confirm their eligibility and shipping details within 7 days of notification, or an alternate eligible winner may be selected. Prizes are fulfilled by AP and Rossignol. Specific styles, sizes, and colors depend on availability; AP and Rossignol may substitute a prize of comparable value. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners are responsible for any taxes, customs, duties, or import fees that apply where they live.
11. Content and likeness
Videos you upload are private by default. AP reviews submitted videos before any public or sponsor use. AP may feature, publish, or reuse your submitted content and display name only in line with the consent settings you choose in your profile, which you can change at any time. 12. Conduct and disqualification
AP may disqualify any participant who cheats, submits false or manipulated results, abuses the platform, harasses others, or violates these rules. AP may remove submissions and adjust scores to keep the leaderboard fair.
Referrals: AP may void any referral and remove the crew points earned from it where AP believes the referral is not a genuine new participant. That includes referring yourself, additional or duplicate accounts, fraudulent or automated sign-ups, and sign-ups obtained by paying, trading, or otherwise inducing someone to join. AP is not required to disclose how it detects this. Crew points already credited may be removed, including from a week that is reopened and scored again, which can change that week's standings.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AP and Rossignolare not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Challenge or the use or misuse of any prize. You participate in all physical activity at your own risk and should consult a healthcare professional before starting any new training. The Challenge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
14. Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, except where local law gives you a non-waivable right to another forum.
15. Independence
The Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Apple, Google, or any platform used to access it.
16. Crew points (referrals)
Every participant gets a personal invite link. When a new participant joins the Challenge on your link, they join your crew, and their training can earn you crew points.
How they are earned.A "video week" is a week of the Challenge in which a member of your crew has at least one approved submission that counts toward the leaderboard and includes a video. Each of a crew member's first 3 video weeks earns you 50 points, so one crew member is worth up to 150 points. The weeks must be different weeks of the Challenge, but they do not have to be consecutive: a video week counts whenever it happens during the Challenge period. A week in which a crew member posts several videos is still one video week. A video week only counts once the submission is approved. If a submission is later rejected and that week no longer qualifies, crew points still held for it are cancelled; crew points already credited into a week AP has scored are not reversed, except where AP voids the referral under section 12.
Limits. At most 10 of your crew members can earn you crew points, so crew points are capped at 1,500 points per participant for the whole Challenge. The limit is not decided by who joined first. If more than 10 of your crew post video weeks, the earning places go to the crew members whose first video week falls earliest in the Challenge, so a friend who joins later but films in an earlier week can take a place ahead of one who joined sooner. Where two crew members first film in the same week, the one who joined your crew earlier takes the place. A crew member who never posts a video week never takes a place. Once a crew member has had crew points credited to you, they keep their place for the rest of the Challenge. Anyone beyond the limit is welcome to take part, they simply do not add points.
You have to train too. Crew points are earned by your crew but paid only into a week you took part in yourself. An amount earned by your crew is held until AP scores a week in which you have an eligible submission of your own, and it is credited into that week at the moment AP scores it, not at the moment your crew member posts. Held crew points are only ever added to the week being scored. They are never added back into a week AP has already scored, however long they have been held. If you do not take part in a week, held crew points wait for the next week you do take part in.
Held crew points can expire. Crew points that are still held when AP scores the final week of the Challenge are not paid out. They do not count toward your weekly score, your overall score, or any prize. To be paid, an amount your crew has earned needs a week you also took part in that AP has still to score, so take part in the closing weeks if your crew has been earning for you.
What they count for. Crew points are part of your weekly score and part of your overall score, so they count toward the weekly prizes in section 7 and the grand prize in section 9. They never break a tie: the tie-breaker in section 7 is decided only on your own training.
One referrer, no self-referral. Each participant can be credited to at most one referrer, set when they join and not changeable afterward. You may not refer yourself or an additional account of your own. AP may void referrals and remove crew points under section 12.
Changes. AP may change the points per video week, the number of paying video weeks, or the crew size limit at any time, with the new values applying to future weeks. Crew points already credited to a finalized week are not recalculated when a value changes.
