Your trust matters. Here is exactly what Adrenaline Performance collects for Road to Winter, how we use it, and the control you have.
Who we are
Road to Winter is run by Adrenaline Performance("AP", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Send us a DM on Instagram at @adrenalineperfomance.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the challenge:
- Account: your name, email, and profile photo (including via Google sign-in).
- Age: your date of birth, used to determine eligibility (13+ to participate and win prizes; public featuring is 18+).
- Skiing profile: ability, days per season, goals, terrain preferences, home mountain, fitness level, and any health context you choose to share.
- Submissions: your results, notes, and any videos you upload.
- Optional details: Instagram handle and your consent and leaderboard settings.
- Usage: basic analytics and referral source (e.g. UTM tags), plus standard technical data from our hosting providers.
How we use it
To run the challenge: create your account, score and rank submissions, display the leaderboard, award and ship prizes, send you transactional emails (submission receipts, deadline reminders, winner notices), and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal data.
Sensitive information
Any health context you provide is used only to tailor the program and is never shown publicly. Please share only what you are comfortable with. You can edit or remove it from your profile at any time.
What is public
The public leaderboard shows only your rank, your display name or first name, your avatar if you supplied one, your points, and participation indicators. Your email, date of birth, Instagram handle, health context, precise location, and raw videos are never shown publicly. You can opt out of the public leaderboard in your settings.
Video
Uploaded videos are private by default and stored in private storage. AP reviews videos before any featuring or public or sponsor use, and such use happens only according to the consent settings you choose. You can remove a video or withdraw a submission at any time before its deadline.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the challenge:
- Supabase:database, authentication, and private file storage.
- Vercel:application hosting.
- Resend:transactional email delivery.
- Google:only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Rossignol:for winners only, the name and shipping details needed to fulfill a prize.
Your AP account
Road to Winter uses your AP account so your profile and progress stay in one place, with no duplicate sign-ups.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your profile, change your consent and leaderboard settings, and remove videos at any time. From your profile you can download a copy of your data and permanently delete your account and associated challenge data. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to run the challenge and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove your challenge data and uploaded videos, except anything we must retain by law.
Children
Road to Winter is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Participants 13 and older can take part and win prizes. Participants under 18 are not featured publicly (name, photo, or social handle in AP marketing) unless AP has collected verified parental or guardian consent.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and private storage for videos. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Changes and governing law
We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above when we do. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
